Here you are in the countryside; the charming Careté neighborhood of Soustons is nestled between the Forest and the fields.
The Gemmeur is the first holiday cottage we ever created.
When renovating it, we wanted to restore its charm as a beautiful Landes-style house.
We look forward to welcoming you to our old farmhouse for a stay during which we’ll be happy to help you explore the Landes region.
Of course, once you’re here, it would be a shame not to enjoy the ocean...
This self-contained holiday cottage includes:
a kitchen
a living room with a wood-burning stove
a bathroom
1 separate toilet
2 bedrooms (1 140-bed + 1 90-bed in one, 1 140-bed + 1 Baby bed in the other)
and a loft (1 90-bed),
For your comfort, the holiday cottage is equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, flat-screen TV, wood-burning stove, and electric heating. (First stère of firewood provided free of charge during the off-season.
The private, fenced-in property features a covered patio with outdoor furniture, a barbecue, a courtyard, a swing, and a bocce court.
The holiday cottage is located on a former farm.

Bonjour,
Notre séjour s'est bien passé. Les propriétaires sont agréables surtout Mr.
Par contre j'ai vraiment à redire sur le fait de devoir arriver le samedi à 17:00H (j'ai demandé à arriver plus tôt mais ce fut un refus.) et de devoir repartir à 9.00H le samedi suivant. Cela fait un total de 8.00H en moins sur une semaine payée assez cher. C'est beaucoup et j'hésite à demander à être remboursée d'un jour.
Le cadre est agréable et sympathique mais loin de la mer. La déco est assez vieillotte.- Cleanliness

Il est regrettable que vous n'ayez pas apprécié notre belle campagne, il est bien stipulé sur le contrat que les arrivées se font à partir de 17h, mais en haute saison le gite est loué toutes les semaines et nous voulions tout simplement pouvoir refaire un ménage complet avant de pouvoir vous accueillir, d'où notre refus. Le gîte n'est pas en bord de mer mais à 8 kms de la plage, d'où vous avez tous les avantages du calme et de la tranquillité de la campagne. Le gemmeur est une ancienne maison landaise traditionnelle.
