Lovely setting

We are regular visitors to the region and, in comparison to other properties we have stayed at, this property did not come up to the usual standard. The setting of the property was lovely with a tranquil feel and abundance of birds, butterflies and even hedgehogs and bats. The pool area was comfortable and there was plenty of outside space, including sunny and shady areas. However, the whole property felt a bit uncared for and lacked many of the essentials you would expect to find (such as a kitchen bin) or felt cluttered with furniture that was unnecessary. There was no clear welcome pack or instructions from the owners and we had to finish making our beds. If you were arriving later in the day, it would be important to be aware that most local supermarkets and shops do not open on the Sunday and we needed to buy essentials immediately as nothing was provided in the accommodation eg toilet rolls. It is also worth reading the details carefully as the house would feel very crowded with 9 people and the third bathroom was not by the house ( and the jacuzzi is a bath tub in this bathroom). We were unable to access any WiFi and it was explained that this was slow owing to the remoteness of the property.
