Description 2026, subject to modifications for 2027: Please refer to the description sheet validated at the time of booking.

Fifteen years ago, Jorge, originally from Holland, decided to settle in France, drawn by its tranquility and the richness of its natural surroundings. Deeply connected to nature, he enjoys hearing the owl’s call at nightfall and watching the quiet dance of the bats every day. Driven by a desire for self-sufficiency, he cultivates a simple lifestyle that respects his environment, even as he continues to build this way of life step by step. By his side, Marie, originally from the Beauce region, brings warmth and gentleness to this place. Deeply committed to connecting with others and fostering a sense of community, she has devoted much of her life to caring for others. Her natural kindness is immediately apparent the moment you walk through the door.
When they bought this house, they already had a quiet dream: to open a Bed and breakfast. Today, that dream has come to life, fueled by their desire to share a place that reflects their simple and welcoming spirit. As caring parents and grandparents to eight grandchildren whom they look after very regularly, they have created a warm, family-like atmosphere here.
The house, steeped in history, once belonged to Antoine Blondin, a writer and columnist for L’Équipe. It retains a unique character that Jorge and Marie have preserved while bringing it to life and opening it up to visitors.
Breakfast is a special time, served in the living room or on the terrace when the weather is nice. They offer local and organic products whenever possible to support regional producers. You’ll find homemade jams, fresh eggs from their chickens, seasonal fruit from the garden, cereal, apple juice, and local organic bread. Marie, who is passionate about cooking, prepares the famous “creusois,” for which she has her own secret recipe. Jorge sometimes likes to share a touch of his heritage with Dutch cheeses, such as goat cheese with fenugreek or Gouda with cumin.
As for the coffee, it’s brewed using a “Hellem” coffee maker—a simple, traditional method that brings out the full richness of the aromas, creating an experience that’s both authentic and welcoming.

The bedroom is accessible directly from the living room and is divided into three areas: a small entryway, separated simply by a curtain, leading to a separate toilet, a bathroom, and the bedroom itself. Measuring approximately 15 m², it features a double bed (140 x 200), a dresser, and a small desk. The living room is shared with the owners. A large garden with a terrace is available for guests to use.
