On a 70-hectare forest estate, 2 18th-century houses have been renovated with the help of the Fondation du Patrimoine into independent character gîtes. "Les Bruyères" is a cosy, tastefully decorated gîte that combines old and new. It opens onto a separate plot of land, and its side terrace offers a wide view of the Monts de Blond. The owners live on site and have a small, nuisance-free griffon dog farm. Walks on the property and hiking trails nearby. Lac de Saint Pardoux, 15 km away, offers swimming, an aqualudic pool with wellness area, sailing, water-skiing, hiking and 2nd category fishing (330 ha). The gîte and its surroundings are not suitable for groups wishing to party or make noise. No camper vans allowed on site.

Surface area 126 m². First floor: living room with kitchenette, dining area and sitting area by the fireplace, laundry/storage room with American fridge, wc. An attractive spiral staircase leads upstairs: 2 bedrooms (1 bed 140cm, 2 beds 90 x 200cm), 1 Kids' bedroom (2 bunk beds 90cm are not suitable for adults), bathroom with bath, shower and toilet closed by a sliding door. Large selection of books and board games. Baby Equipment available on request (Umbrella bed, chair, playpen, bath ring and changing mat). Raclette, fondue and crêpe-grill services available on request.
