Originally from Switzerland, Josef and Béatrice are true globetrotters. With their 3 Kids, they have just arrived from Canada, where they opened a motel. They chose to settle at Le Moulin de Cheni, in the heart of the Countryside in the Limousin region, a place of calm and serenity. Their goals? To enjoy their Kids and meet new people, while being halfway between Switzerland and Portugal, where Josef is originally from. Enthusiastic, friendly and dynamic, they brighten up this already pleasant place! On site, 3 beautiful ponds where no-kill fishing is possible. Beautiful shared Piscine (11 x 4). Open from 1/06 to 30/09, from 10am to 8pm. On site: 3 Holiday cottages; 2 in a large detached house and one in a small detached house (total capacity on site: 13 people).On site: horse, geese, hens....At Lake Meuzac: water skiing, wakeboarding, towed buoys, paddle, baby skiing...
The gîte faces the pond. Surface area 50 m². Living room with kitchenette and sitting area with wood-burning stove. 2 bedrooms (1 double bed, 2 single beds), each with private shower room and toilet. Central heating. Terrace with garden furniture. Internet access with 4G box.

Hameçon Pêche
Le cadre est magnifique.
Amis pêcheurs, la pêche est difficile.
Il ne faudrait pas de navigation telle que barque sur l'étang face au gîte. Sachant que le 2eme étang,la baignade y est autorisée.
Sur l'étang face au gîte, la profondeur d'eau est insuffisante.- Cleanliness

Merci d'avoir pris le temps de partager votre avis. Nous sommes heureux que vous ayez apprécié le cadre. Nous sommes en revanche surpris par votre retour concernant la pêche, car le site du Moulin de Cheni est reconnu depuis de nombreuses années auprès des pêcheurs et accueille régulièrement une clientèle fidèle à ce loisir depuis plus de 20 ans. Peut-être que les poissons étaient simplement un peu plus joueurs que d'habitude… ou un peu trop “poissons d'avril” !
Nous sommes très surpris par cet avis. Lors de votre séjour, vous ne nous avez fait part d'aucune insatisfaction ni remarque, alors que nous sommes toujours disponibles pour échanger et répondre à toutes les questions de nos hôtes. Il est donc regrettable que ces éléments n'aient pas été abordés directement sur place.
Le Moulin de Cheni est un lieu reconnu depuis de nombreuses années pour la pêche, avec trois étangs, dont deux d'environ deux hectares dédiés à cette activité, régulièrement fréquentés par des pêcheurs passionnés. Comme pour toute pratique de la pêche, les conditions peuvent varier selon la période et les conditions naturelles.
Nous rappelons également que la baignade n'est pas autorisée dans les étangs, conformément à la réglementation en vigueur et pour des raisons de sécurité -

Beautiful setting overlooking fishing ponds in secluded grounds with a good range of walks available within the boundary of the property. Plenty to see locally within a 60 minute radius and useful tourist information was in the Gite. Our Gite was well equipped for a holiday stay and the ensuite to each bedroom was appreciated. We stayed with our dog, a young, active Malinois and the grounds were superb for walking her. One word of caution - there is wildlife and domestic animals in the area and there were ticks. Our dog is vaccinated against ticks but be aware, make sure your preventative treatments are up to date and brush after every walk.

ARESUS Ein Ort der Ruhe
Wenn man dem Schöpfer in gewissen Gebieten Unzulänglichkeiten unterstellen könnte in Bezug seiner schöpferischen Entwürfen, ja dann mein lieber Freund hast du diesen Sehnsuchtsort noch nicht kennengelernt. Hier hat er ganze Arbeit geleistet. Hier kannst du dich erholen und Kraft tanken am See oder in der milden Kühle in einem unberührten Wald. In jeder Hinsicht eine Grossartige Lokation. Vielen Dank.
