Le Montheil is a small, flower-filled hamlet overlooking the Monts d'Ambazac and offering uninterrupted views over the lush, wooded Countryside bordering the Creuse. The house next to Jennie and Peter's comprises 2 Holiday cottages. It's an ideal base for exploring the Hiking trails of the Monts d'Ambazac.
La Vieille Maison: entrance from alley or garden. Kitchen-diner, living room with wood-burning stove. Upstairs: 3 bedrooms (3 double beds), shower room with toilet. Wood heating. Approx. 20 m away is a very large, fully enclosed lawn garden (2500 m²). It is shared with the 2nd Holiday cottage (2 people), Peter and Jennie, the family cat, dogs, lambs and chickens. Pets must be kept on a leash. Parking on the property. TV with English and French channels - The owners have a washing machine in a closed room, available to tenants of the 2 Holiday cottages on request.

Accueil très chaleureux et à l'écoute et une bienveillance avec ses clients, les gîtes rien à dire , il y avait tout ce qu'il faut, avec même un petit présent à l'arrivée qui fait toujours plaisir,tout c'est très bien passé je recommande à 100 % c'est gîtes au calme reposant avec une vue incroyable

We had a wonderful stay in the Old House and in the Beekeepers' Chalet.
The houses are super well equipped, we didn't miss anything. You have really thought of all the details to welcome people to your "HOME"The way you preserve this place, this beautiful countryside, the respect for the environment via the chickens, the sheeps, the orchard, the huts for the birds, the flowers for the insects, the recovery of the compost brings a real plus, and the little touches on the table when we arrive by sharing your homemade products really reflect the kindness of the hosts that you are.
