La Renaissance

Beautiful country renovation with above-ground pool. Beds made on arrival.

La Renaissance is located in the hills above Saint Junien. Pascale and Gilles, originally from Alsace, fell in love with the place where they live. They have renovated the former farmhouse and its detached sheepfold into a cosy, charming, self-contained gîte. It opens onto a pleasant, spacious, sheltered terrace at the rear, a plot of land with a private above-ground swimming pool and views over the countryside. The swimming pool (5.4 m x 5.4 m, depth 1.30 m) is open from June 1 to September 30, weather permitting. Hiking trails pass close to the gîte. Saint Junien, a town of character, is renowned for the skills of its craftsmen in leather processing (gloves, bags, clothes...). It offers a wide range of activities, including fishing, golf and an aqua-recreational center. The Monts de Blond are nearby.

Surface area 105 m². First floor: living room with kitchenette, sitting area, library, wood-burning stove, laundry/storage room and toilet. Upstairs: 1 bedroom with 2 beds 80 x 200 cm (can be twinned on request), 1 bedroom with 3 beds 80 x 200 cm (2 of which are bunk beds), a shower room and a toilet. The 3rd bedroom on the ground floor is independent of the house, with 3 beds 80 x 200 cm, 2 of which can be twinned on request, and has a bathroom with toilet. The bedroom, its sanitary facilities and the first floor of the house are accessible to people with reduced mobility. A sauna adjoining the 3rd bedroom is available on request (€50/week, €10/day). Table tennis. 3 adult VTCs available. In order to offer you a responsible stay, certain specific consumption (e.g. heating, electricity, etc.) may be invoiced at the end of your stay.
