Just 10 minutes from the A20 motorway and at the entrance to the village of Châteauponsac, La Petite Charmille is an independent B&B nestled in the grounds of a charming residence. Chantal and Pierre have transformed this pretty janitor's cottage into a comfortable loft-style room. Breakfast is served on site or in the garden under the majestic lime tree. Very involved in village life, Chantal and Pierre will share with you the history of their house and their attachment to Châteauponsac. This guest house has been awarded "biodiversity" status.
The stylishly decorated room sleeps 2. On the first floor, a relaxation area and breakfast nook with fridge and microwave. Shower room with toilet. Mezzanine bed upstairs: one 160cm bed. Air-conditioning. Private parking. Outdoor covered awning for relaxing. This accommodation does not allow electric vehicle charging.

Chantal est Limousine depuis toujours et Pierre d'origine vendéenne, après de longues années passées au Bord de la Gartempe, ils achètent, en 2012 « les charmilles « , maison et parc abandonnés depuis 1982….
Tout était à faire, la maison en priorité car l'eau s'infiltrait partout, ensuite le jardin dans lequel poussaient allégrement ronces et autres mauvaises herbes.
Après quelques années de travaux, la « petite charmille » nous souriait et nous demandait « à quand mon tour », c'est chose faite cette année.
Nous sommes amoureux des Charmilles depuis de nombreuses années, la PETITE et LA GRANDE Charmille nous attendaient toutes les deux pour revivre. En vous accueillant dans notre chambre d'hôte, nous espérons vous faire découvrir et aimer notre ville, notre région et notre patrimoine qui relève quelques pépites.

Louise La petite Charmille is charming and comfortable
We loved our 5 days at La petite Charmille. Chantal is a wonderful host, very kind and helpful. She brings breakfast in the morning, with fruit from the garden and nice jams that she makes herself. The cottage has a beautiful and private location in the garden under the trees. It’s nicely renovated with a good bathroom and it has a nice decor/interior. We enjoyed the location as well: the landscape in the area around Chateauponsac is gorgeous and we found some nice auberges and bistros in the area. Highly recommended!
