On the ground floor: the station hall hosts a large living room with kitchen and scullery, a comfortable lounge with TV. Upstairs: 3 bedrooms (3 double beds 160 cm), two with shower room and wc, one with bathroom and wc, all with TV. On the landing a lounge area. On the 2nd floor 3 bedrooms, one with 1 double bed 160 cm, the other with 2 single beds 90 cm, the 3rd with 4 single beds 90 cm, a shower room with WC. Gas central heating. Catering service by reservation. some rooms cannot yet be photographed, the same for the exterior. In the very south of the department, in the heart of the Périgord Limousin Regional Natural Park, it is by a small road with no other exit that you reach the gite of "the bird station". The building raises its tall stature where is still written "Champagnac". Jacqueline and Bernard have transformed the station into a comfortable lodge. It opens onto a lawn with an 8x4 m swimming pool (under construction) open from April to the end of October (unheated). At the back, the cottage is bordered by a greenway evolution of the old railway line. It is ideal, along its 13 km, for walking, cycling and discovering the charm of the hilly and green countryside: Château de Châlus Chabrol, Tardoire valley, hemp dryer, laundry... On the site a another gîte that can accommodate 10 people will be operational at the beginning of July.
