An ideal place to share

Born and raised in Limousin, Nadine and Hugues are bursting with energy. Always full of projects, they are renovating part of their home to open a guest house. Nadine is a writing workshop leader. Passionate about ceramics and modelling, she has just opened "l'atelier de Kernad", where numerous courses are organized. Support and creativity are her leitmotivs. Very involved in local life, she has contributed to the creation of cultural festivals in her area. Hugues divides his time between his involvement in fencing and his small production of honey, which you can enjoy for breakfast. Their garden, with its small, sometimes well-hidden terraces, invites you to rest and relax. The table d'hôtes offers local cuisine made with local produce (30 €/person only on reservation with the owner).

2 bedrooms have been fitted out in an independent space: The room with a view, on the 1st floor, for 2 adults (bed 180 which can be twinned into 2 beds 90) and a child (under 8 years old, sleeping on a chaise longue), fan. Very comfortable, the atmosphere is uncluttered, with wood and fabrics that radiate light and elegant refinement. The bathroom with toilet is original, vast and soothing. The chambre de l'ange on the 2nd floor under the roof sleeps 3 (2 twin beds 90, 1 bed 80 or a sofa bed). More traditionally decorated, it exudes a cosy atmosphere. An unusual annex for 2 children (over 12) is located outside this room and can be rented for an extra charge (€20/person): this mezzanine cabin is accessed by a staircase, and opens onto the entrance to the guest house via a half-wall screen. A living area, lounge and mezzanine are reserved for guests. Kitchenette area with terrace available.
