Jérôme and Marie-Amélie have renovated this former farmhouse located near their home in a unique country setting. They have transformed the house into a cosy little nest: pretty colors, contemporary lighting, comfort with quality equipment; a sober, chic and modern atmosphere. Lovers of the Limousin, they will share their knowledge of the region; if you wish, they can show you around their farm specializing in Limousin livestock and potato production. Holiday cottage des Rousses promises a soothing, rejuvenating stay. Take advantage of the Spa (optional at extra cost) in an independent cottage with panoramic views over the Countryside, heated and shared with the owners, featuring a shower and dry toilet.
Surface 43 m² on first floor. Living room with kitchen. Bedroom with 160 cm bed and en-suite shower room. Separate WC. Electric heating. Blackout curtains. No shutters.
In order to offer you a responsible stay, certain specific consumption (e.g. heating, electricity....) may be billed at the end of your stay.

mb44 Petit coin de tranquilité
Séjour agréable, malgré une météo désastreuse, très jolie région, beaucoup de promenades possibles. Le calme et la tranquillité. Gite agréable, chaud et douillet. tout le confort pour un couple. de plein pied, accès direct à la nature. Pas de bruit et pas de lampadaire visible et très loin (village étoilé (3)).

La maison est vraiment charmante, bien équipée et propre. Nous avons été au calme ce qui nous a permis de faire une coupure. Le seul bémol est sur le confort car il n’y a pas de quoi se protéger du soleil (volet ou store banne sur la façade avant) ce qui fait que la maison est exposée au soleil tout l’après-midi.
La nuit on ne peut pas ouvrir la chambre car c’est une porte fenêtre qui n’a pas de volet (risque d’intrusion de petits animaux car nous sommes à la campagne). Nous en avons discuté avec la propriétaire.
Le plus reste le SPA, ce qui est très appréciable.
La région est très belle mais il y fait aussi très chaud. Il faut absolument avoir un véhicule car les lieux à visiter sont assez dispersés.- Cleanliness

Les photos sur le site montrent une maison sans volet et sont fidèles à la réalité. Dans la rénovation, la porte fenêtre de la chambre existait nous l'avons conservé pour donner un accès direct à la terrasse ce qui est un plus pour le confort. Jusqu'à ce jour il n'y a jamais d'intrusion d'animaux. Le Limousin est réputé pour sa verdure et non pas pour ses températures excessives, en effet lors de ce séjour comme l'ensemble de la France nous subissions exceptionnellement une canicule. En faisant le choix de séjourner en campagne Limousine, on choisit la tranquillité et le véhicule est indispensable pour visiter en milieu rural.
