Imagine waking up in the heart of the Vineyard of Saint Emilion, just a few minutes from its UNESCO World Heritage village.
Our Holiday cottage will offer you much more than a simple stay: nestled in a quiet hamlet 800 meters from the village of Saint Christophe des Bardes, a neighboring village of Saint Emilion, above an old quarry that will soon house the François Saurue Vineyard winery, and just a few minutes from the region's most famous winegrowers, you'll experience a total immersion in the world of Bordeaux winegrowing.
Spacious and comfortable, this accommodation allows you to perfectly combine relaxation, cultural discovery and a passion for wine.
Housed in a fully restored old house, our ground-floor Holiday cottage comprises a beautiful dining room opening onto a fully-equipped kitchen and a cosy living room with TV and table soccer, a bedroom with a 180x200 bed, a shower room with large shower and laundry area, and a separate toilet. Upstairs, two bedrooms, one with a 160x200 bed, the other with two 120x190 beds, and a bathroom with shower and toilet complete the accommodation. The Holiday cottage is equipped with reversible air conditioning.
A private terrace with garden furniture and gas barbecue is at your disposal for pleasant moments of relaxation. It overlooks a plot of land with parking (not enclosed).
Bed linen, table linen, towels, air conditioning and heating are included in the price.
We offer introductory wine-tasting workshops led by Paul-Auguste Saurue, winemaker at François Saurue Vineyards. Color, intensity, aromatic profile, balance... Wine tasting will no longer hold any secrets for you after this workshop (reservation and rates on request from the owner).
