Welcome to Le Paon Théon, a delightful, fully-renovated, regional-style stone cottage set in lush, relaxing countryside. Ideally located in the heart of the southern Gironde, just a kilometer from the village of Préchac, ten kilometers from Bazas and its cathedral, and a stone's throw from the Château de Cazeneuve, our Holiday cottage, Le Paon Théon, welcomes you for your stay with family or friends.
This location is perfect for discovering the region's many treasures, and lovers of heritage and history can take a trip back in time with visits to castles, churches and listed villages. Walks in the Forest and cycle paths will allow you to discover these magnificent places and their preserved natural heritage. The river "Le Ciron", which runs through our commune, offers a wide range of activities (fishing, canoeing, swimming, walking) and can take you to the banks of the Garonne where it flows into Barsac. The Holiday cottage is located on a property which also includes the owners' home. You'll have independent access to a private, enclosed parking lot, equipped with an electric car charger. An enclosed garden equipped with outdoor furniture will enable you to spend pleasant moments depending on the season. To the delight of Kids, some of the gallinaceous birds present on the property will show you their finest feathers and perhaps their babies. The Holiday cottage comprises on the ground floor a large main room with fully-equipped kitchen (complete with washing machine), dining area and comfortable living room with sofa bed (140x190), wood-burning stove, television, wi-fi and separate toilet. On the first floor, there is a master bedroom with a 160x200 bed, shower room and separate toilet. The Holiday cottage is equipped with reversible air-conditioning throughout (living room and bedrooms), and a wood-burning stove. Bed linen and towels are provided. Cleaning service available at the end of your stay (extra charge). A wheelbarrow of wood for the stove is provided. Parking on the property, fully enclosed with gate.
