In the heart of the Côtes de Blaye vineyard, just about ten kilometers from the Citadel of Blaye—Vauban’s iconic fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site bustling with shops and artisans— The Puits Fleuris holiday cottage welcomes you for a stay dedicated to relaxation and exploration.
Located in the peaceful hamlet of L’Hôpital, just a stone’s throw from the village of Eyrans—where you’ll find a bakery—it offers a pleasant setting, ideal for recharging your batteries. Cyclists will appreciate the bike path just 500 meters away, which will take you through the Vineyards all the way to Blaye. In the surrounding area, set out to explore the Gironde estuary and its boat tours, the charming village of Bourg-sur-Gironde and the Corniche Road, or the Saint-Ciers-sur-Gironde bird sanctuary and its characteristic marshes dotted with fishing huts and Restaurants.
Adjacent to the owners’ home and near a second holiday cottage, the property features a separate entrance and a large private gravel courtyard with a paved terrace, perfect for enjoying sunny days. Completely and carefully renovated, the house features, on the ground floor, an entryway, a cozy living area with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and living room, as well as a spacious bathroom with a toilet. Upstairs, you’ll find three comfortable bedrooms (one with a 160x200 bed, one with a 140x190 bed, and one with a Bed 90x190) as well as a separate toilet with a sink.
The holiday cottage is equipped with electric heating. Sheets and table linens are included in the rate. Bath towel rental and end-of-stay cleaning are available as paid options. You also have access to free Wi-Fi. Two large fans are available for the bedrooms.
