Stay in an elegant 19th-century maison bourgeoise, an old family home handed down through several generations, nestled in the heart of the Gironde Countryside on a working wine estate. Set in one hectare of fully enclosed grounds, this beautiful property combines authentic charm, wide open spaces and a gentle pace of life, just 1.5 km from Castillon-la-Bataille and 1 km from Flaujagues. Spacious and welcoming, the house has three comfortable bedrooms accessible by a few steps: one with two single beds 90x190 and closet, one with a double bed 160x200 and storage space, and a third bedroom with a bed 130x190 and wardrobe. There's also a modern shower room with large shower and double washbasin, as well as a separate toilet. The living areas offer plenty of space for conviviality: a vast lounge with sofa, armchairs and billiards table for sharing relaxing moments, as well as a dining area with cosy sitting area. The independent kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering: dishwasher, electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge, capsule and filter coffee makers. Outside, several areas invite you to relax: a single-storey terrace with garden furniture in front of the house, a swing with mosquito net in the heart of the garden, deckchairs to soak up the sun, and a second south-facing terrace with awning. Barbecue enthusiasts will appreciate the solid barbecue, fed with vine shoots or vines, for a typical wine-growing atmosphere. Cleaning at the end of your stay is available at extra cost. As for leisure activities, there's everything you need for an active vacation: free tennis (booking required at the town hall), pétanque court 500 m away, La Cadie sports and leisure center just 3 km away, with fishing and restaurant, not forgetting canoe trips to Pessac-sur-Dordogne or Castillon.

In Castillon la Bataille, in season, you can attend the Battle of Castillon show, which retraces the history of the Hundred Years' War.
