Located between Saint Emilion and Sauternes, in a pleasant and peaceful setting, a cocoon of intimacy nestled in the Forest. We welcome you to Le Clos d'Avalon, an old farmhouse that has been lovingly restored to provide the perfect setting for your stay. Although adjoining, the clos retains all its privacy.
The accommodation has an enclosed garden, a lovely partially-covered terrace with garden furniture and a dining area equipped with an electric plancha, overlooking a pretty Lake, facing the Forest crossed by the Sainte Catherine stream which joins the Mauriac pond 500 meters away.
Our Holiday cottage features a lovely living room with fully-equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, Tassimo coffee maker, filter coffee maker, toaster, kettle, fridge, microwave oven and hob), dining area and living room with wood-burning stove and TV, two bedrooms (one 160x200 bed and two 90X200 beds), one of which has direct access to the garden, a small reading room, a shower room with walk-in shower and separate toilet. The Holiday cottage is spread over several levels.
A washing machine, ironing board and iron, and hairdryer are also at your disposal.
Holiday cottage equipped with Electric heating.
Bed linen provided and beds made on arrival. Towels and final cleaning included.
The Holiday cottage is adjoining another Holiday cottage: you can rent both accommodations at the same time.
Internet connection via high-speed fiber.

Delphine Un séjour très agréable
Nous avons profité de nos vacances dans cette très jolie maison décorée avec goût. Il n'y manquait rien pour le quotidien. Malgré la canicule, la maison est restée tempérée, ce qui a été très appréciable. Nous avons été très bien reçus et avons visité la région avec beaucoup de plaisir, entre patrimoine, nature et baignades. Comme dans beaucoup de régions, les moustiques ne nous ont pas permis de profiter de l'extérieur ou d'ouvrir les fenêtres le soir, mais cela ne nous a pas empêché de passer de bonnes vacances.

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux dans ce superbe gîte, situé au calme à quelques minutes de Saint-Émilion. L’endroit est paisible et plein de charme — idéal pour se détendre et profiter de la région. Le gîte est magnifique, décoré avec goût, impeccablement propre et très bien équipé. On s’y sent tout de suite comme chez soi.
Un grand merci à la propriétaire, qui a été d’une gentillesse et d’une disponibilité exceptionnelles. Ses attentions et ses conseils ont vraiment fait la différence et rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable.

Richard Very Relaxing, Excellent Character Property
The Gite was very well furnished and equipped, with everything we could want, and was is a very quiet relaxing location. The hosts were very helpful and made sure we wanted for nothing. Would strongly recommend this gite.

Mécano Gîte au calme
Séjour très agréable, gîte très bien agencé et décoré. Seul bémol à notre arrivée, les toiles d'araignées, la poussière sur les meubles, l'écoulement de la douche bloqué par des longs cheveux.
