Le Castel de Lamothe

Located on our Sauternes wine estate, Castèl de Lamothe offers an exceptional panorama of the vineyards and the Ciron valley. To the south, you'll find a wooden terrace with a pergola and a large garden table, a secure swimming pool (fenced and alarmed) with parasols and sun loungers, a gas plancha and a Weber barbecue. To the east, a shaded area under the large pine tree with two wooden tables is also available.
Completely renovated inside in 2021, our gîte offers a château atmosphere combining modern comfort and antique furnishings. Covering 200m² on one level, it features a large living area under an 18th-century exposed roof frame, with a fully-equipped kitchen (food processor, fridge-freezer, induction hob, bean-to-cup coffee machine, etc.), a large dining room with lounge (140cm sofa bed), and a relaxation area with billiards and table soccer.
The sleeping area comprises a bedroom with a 160cm bed, a 110x190cm sofa-bed and en-suite shower room, a bedroom with 4 90x190cm beds and en-suite shower room, a bedroom with a 160cm bed and en-suite bathroom, a bedroom with a 140cm bed and en-suite shower room, and two separate WCs.
The gîte is equipped with wifi, gas central heating and baby equipment (cot, high chair, baby bath). Sheets, towels and tea towels are included, and beds are made up on arrival. Shared laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
The gîte is located in the middle of vineyards on a working wine estate; the outdoor area around the gîte is not enclosed. The owners will show you the boundaries of the gîte's "private" areas, the shared relaxation areas, and the areas where tenants are not allowed. Despite the facilities and infrastructure in place, children will need special care.
