La Souchette

Located near the Bastide de Libourne, just a few minutes from Bordeaux and Saint-Émilion, La Souchette welcomes you for an authentic and friendly stay with family or friends.

Nestled in an old stone farmhouse dating back to 1850, this charming home has been completely renovated to blend the charm of the past with modern comfort. You’ll enjoy a large, enclosed garden offering an unobstructed and soothing view of the surrounding vineyards and the restored, authentic old bread oven—the perfect spot to relax and savor the region’s laid-back lifestyle.

The holiday cottage features, on the ground floor, a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, a spacious living room with a TV, a bathroom with a large shower, a separate toilet, and a laundry room. Upstairs, three comfortable bedrooms can accommodate up to six people with two double beds (Bed 140 x 190 cm) and two single beds (90 x 190 cm).

For a stress-free stay, we offer optional rentals of sheets, towels, and linens, as well as a cleaning service at the end of your stay.

Additional information: heating is an extra charge (flat rate). The holiday cottage is attached to the owner’s home; they will give you a warm welcome while ensuring your privacy.

There is a local grocery store in the town, and various shops in Galgon, located 6 km away, where you can also charge your electric vehicle (medium-sized store).


Within a radius of about fifteen kilometers, enjoy, for example, the La Calinésie water park in Libourne or the Hippocampe in Saint André de Cubzac, Château la Rivière, various hiking trails, and more.
