Situated in the heart of the Bordeaux Vineyard, around 35 kilometers from Bordeaux, the Holiday cottage de la Chapelle Saint Cricq opens its doors to you for an extraordinary stay. Fans of old stones will be seduced by the authentic and atypical character of this Holiday cottage, housed in one of the towers of a former 16th-century fortified château.
The first floor comprises a large bedroom with a 140x190cm bed, which was once a chapel.
An old stone staircase leads to the second floor, where you'll find the living room with its fully-equipped kitchen, dining area and chaise longue for relaxing, plus a small shower room with toilet.
On this level, you'll have access to an overhanging terrace with garden furniture.
On the second and last level, you'll find the second bedroom, with its round bed and luminous bathtub, from which you can admire the tower's magnificent framework (access to the bedroom via a Japanese staircase).
The Holiday cottage has its own private garden with terrace, garden furniture and lounge, and a private semi-buried swimming pool. Each floor has its own TV.
Bed linen and towels included in the price. Electric heating. Tourist tax extra. A second Holiday cottage on the property.

Ben excellent séjour en famille
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour d'une semaine dans le gîte de Nathalie. Rien ne manque et le cadre est vraiment parfait, au calme, dans les vestiges de cet ancien château, rénovés avec goût.
La piscine est idéale pour se rafraîchir en cas de grosse chaleur. Je recommande les yeux fermés.- Cleanliness

Excellent séjour dans ce gîte.
Très calme, adapté a une famille de 4 personnes ( vaisselle un peu juste peut être )
Superbe région, nous avons pu aller à la dune du Pilat, Bordeaux, Arcachon, Cadillac sur Garonne et merci à Nathalie pour les conseils pour le lac d'Hostens.
Très bon accueil de la propriétaire Nathalie qui est très sympathique.
Le château est magnifique et a était très bien rénové on s'y sent à l'aise et il y fait frais ce qui est appréciable avec les chaleurs.
La piscine privative est un vrai plus et le jardin est agreable.

Nathalie Brilliant! It's a castle!
It really is a little castle! Tastefully decorated, lovely little terrace, not too far from civilisation and all equipment needed. The only downside is the stairs - both up to the tower and down to the bedroom. Lots of chateaux to visit nearby. We took some extra chairs with us as the only comfy seating is a chaise longue. We had a really great time!

We really enjoyed our stay. In hindsight the stairs were not a good idea for me. There was a lovely chaise longue in the sitting area but only suitable for one person so a sofa would have been perfect. It was very quiet and peaceful and in such a lovely area. Nathalie was away but her sister Catherine gave us a warm welcome.
