La Caquetoire

Located in the northeast of the Gironde region, on the border with the Charente and Charente-Maritime departments, about 30 kilometers from Saint-Émilion and 60 kilometers from Bordeaux, La Caquetoire welcomes you for a stay with family or friends. This location is ideal for exploring the treasures of the Libourne region and enjoying a variety of activities (canoeing and kayaking, bike rides, exploring cities and villages, visiting wine estates and châteaux, and more).
Our holiday cottage is housed in a charming, fully renovated 1900s Gironde-style home. It is located in the small town of Les Eglisottes-et-Chalaures, just off the departmental road that leads directly to the nearest shops, about 7 km away. The nearby train station, very convenient during the summer, will take you to Bordeaux, Angoulême, or the beaches of the Arcachon Bay.
Our holiday cottage features a beautiful private 4 x 8 m Piscine (1.40 m deep) surrounded by a large pool house with a summer kitchen (dishwasher, sink, grill, stovetop, refrigerator, pizza oven), dining area, an outdoor shower, and 1 toilet.
The holiday cottage features, on the ground floor, a fully equipped kitchen and its utility room, a bright living-dining room opening onto a terrace with garden furniture at the rear, a bedroom with a 180x200 cm bed and its own bathroom / private toilet, and a separate toilet.
Upstairs, there are 4 additional bedrooms (one with a 140x200 cm bed, 2 160x200 beds, and 2 90x200 beds), three of which have private showers and the fourth a full bathroom.
The holiday cottage features reversible air conditioning in the living areas.

Sheets are included in the price of your stay. Towels, pool linens, and end-of-stay cleaning are available for rent (additional fees apply).
