La Caquetoire

Situated in the north-east of the Gironde, at the gateway to the Charente and Charente Maritime departments, around thirty kilometers from Saint Emilion and sixty from Bordeaux, La Caquetoire welcomes you for your stay with family or friends. This location is ideal for discovering the riches of the Libourne region, and varying the pleasures and activities on offer (canoeing, kayaking, cycling, exploring towns and villages, wine estates and châteaux, etc.).
Our Holiday cottage is housed in an attractive, fully renovated house dating from 1900, typical of the Gironde region. It is located in the small commune of Les Eglisottes et Chalaures, just off the departmental road that takes you directly to the nearest shops, some 7 km away. The nearby train station, very convenient in summer, will take you to Bordeaux, Angoulême or the beaches of the Bassin d'Arcachon.
Our Holiday cottage boasts a 4 x 8 m (1.40 m deep) private swimming pool around a large pool-house with summer kitchen (dishwasher, sink, plancha, hob, fridge, pizza oven), dining area, outdoor shower and 1 WC.
On the ground floor, the Holiday cottage comprises a fully-equipped kitchen and utility room, a bright living/dining room opening onto a terrace with garden furniture, a bedroom with a 180x200 bed and private shower room/wc, and a separate toilet.
Upstairs are 4 further bedrooms (one 140x200 bed, 2 160x200 beds and 2 90x200 beds), 3 with en-suite shower rooms and the fourth with a bathroom.
The Holiday cottage has reversible air conditioning in the living rooms.

Bed linen is included in the price. Towels and Piscine towels can be hired, as well as cleaning services at the end of your stay (for a fee).
