Welcome to Haras de la Mellerie. Nestled on the edge of the Gironde estuary, in the charming and picturesque little "Port de Richard", Martine and Pascal de La Mare open the doors of their haven of peace and invite you to enjoy a moment out of time. Here, you'll live to the rhythm of nature and your desires, to the rhythm of a horse's stride. And as the Médoc peninsula abounds in treasures, we invite you to discover its heritage, Vineyard and sandy beaches.
Set in a lush, flower-filled setting, Le Haras, with its blend of 18th-century and contemporary architecture, is designed for the comfort and pleasure of our guests. Our guests are warmly invited to use both their rooms and the garden's numerous relaxation areas, where they can rest or enjoy moments of jubilation.
Our independently-accessible bed and breakfast will win you over with its furnishings and original, local atmosphere. Depending on the season, breakfast can be served inside or outside. Holiday cottage also available on the property.

L'accueil par le propriétaire de ce joli havre de paix est aussi chaleureux que le climat lors de notre séjour.
Le logement est agréable et fonctionnel, bien organisé, et situé dans un environnement calme. Gros coup de cœur pour la piscine qui nous a bien rafraichis.
Une petite suggestion pour que cela soit encore plus parfait: indiquer le nom de la suite et de la salle des petits-déjeuners au dessus des portes, parce que la tête en l'air que je suis a failli se tromper de porte plusieurs fois.- Cleanliness

Merci Martine et Pascal pour votre excellent accueil, on a rarement été aussi bien chouchouté. Le gîte est parfaitement équipé et excellemment bien placé, proche de tous les centres d'intérêts tout en étant loin du tumulte... un goût de revenez-y!
