We invite you to stay with us in the Médoc countryside, surrounded by a peaceful setting and a garden full of flowers. A donkey and a chicken coop (located about 20 meters away) on the property add a rustic touch.
Our village of Vendays Montalivet is located just a few kilometers from the beautiful Atlantic coast with its fine sandy beaches. You can also explore the region’s traditional markets, including the daily market in Montalivet, the small ports of the Gironde estuary, the Richard and Cordouan lighthouses (designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2021), as well as our large lakes such as Carcans and Hourtin—not to mention the region’s fine wines. Explore the region by taking the many hiking trails or bike paths. We’re happy to welcome you—please make yourselves at home. The kids can visit the chickens.
The house, located in the heart of the countryside, is a semi-detached house and features an enclosed, flower-filled terrace, outdoor furniture, and a carport.
Inside, you’ll find a living area with a kitchen (microwave), dining area, and sitting area, two bedrooms (one 140x190cm bed, two 90x190cm beds), a bathroom, and a separate toilet.
An indoor gaming room with a ping-pong table is available for your use.
Parking is available on the property, with shaded spots available if needed.
Electric heating is not included beyond 8 kWh of electricity per day.
Bicycle path 6 km away. Beach sailing 14 km away. End-of-stay cleaning fee is an additional charge. Pets allowed with a security deposit. Dogs considered dangerous (Categories 1 and 2) are not allowed. Dogs must remain in the small enclosure and be kept on a leash outdoors; they are not allowed in the bedrooms. Sheets, towels, and end-of-stay cleaning are available for an additional fee.
Visitor’s tax is an additional charge.
