Between the Dordogne and Garonne rivers, in the heart of the rolling Entre-Deux-Mers region, 20 minutes south of Bordeaux, La Salamandre nestles in the outbuildings of Château de Los, a 17th-century Bordeaux castel with panoramic views over vineyards and Forest. The farmyard and swings will keep your Kids entertained. A short walk will take you to the Arbor et Sens park for tree climbing. On the way back, the Piscine (shared with a second Holiday cottage), available from May 1 to September 30, offers relaxation and laughter.
Adjoining another gîte, this single-storey Holiday cottage has a terrace overlooking the shared swimming pool and the Countryside.
It comprises a main room with kitchen, dining area and living room, 2 bedrooms (1 bed 160 and 2 beds 90), shower room/WC.
Bed linen provided. Possibility of renting towels, end-of-stay cleaning package. Free wifi internet connection. Tourist tax extra.
Electric heating (flat rate of 8 kWh per day included). Plancha grill. Bike room.
Holiday cottage suitable for Telework (small table in bedroom, internet connection).
CCS 11KW socket for car recharging (consumption to be paid extra). ¶

Lindsay A pleasant stay.
We enjoyed our stay in the gite. The kitchen is well equipped, and the bathroom is large and clean with a good shower.
There were a few problems, the bathroom door needs to have the lock repaired, and the occasional chair is very uncomfortable- and only three can sit unless they use a dining chair.
The pool is large and clean, with a lovely patio, table and chairs. We appreciated the use of the washing machine.
Very quiet location, but a good boulangerie nearby for breakfast croissants and bread.- Cleanliness

Très joli gite, dans un ancien bâtiment à proximité de Bordeaux . Jolie vue de la piscine sur la vallée. Très bon accueil des propriétaires très sympas. Bonne literie. Par contre, dommage que le canapé du salon ne soit pas plus confortable. Bon point, la plancha à disposition.

GLM Séjour La Salamandre du 06 au 13 juillet 2025
Nous avons passé une semaine super au gîte. Site magnifique au milieu des vignes, au calme entouré de nature. Le gîte est très bien équipé et confortable. Mr Arthaud est adorable, très accueillant et nous a conseillé des jolies balades et visites. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

Arnaud Gîte, piscine et hôtes : séjour au top
Gite bien équipé, belle hauteur sous plafond, terrasse tres agreable et bien orientée. Ce gite parait plus grand que la surface annoncée.
Proprietaires aux petits soins pour leurs locataires.
