Once upon a time, there was a little house in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood... That’s where the fairy tale ends—reality will charm you.
Located in Gujan-Mestras, in the heart of the Arcachon Basin, the La Dune Blanche holiday cottage—completely renovated in a seaside style—is the perfect place to fully enjoy your stay. Ideally situated less than 2 kilometers from the Arcachon Bay’s nearest beaches, various shops, recreational parks, and the seven ports of Gujan-Mestras—and about a dozen kilometers from the Dune du Pyla—it has been fully equipped to combine comfort and convenience.
The house features an enclosed garden with a large covered terrace equipped with a wicker outdoor seating area, a barbecue, and a small storage shed available for guests’ use. The interior consists, on the ground floor, of a living-dining area opening onto a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a 160x200 cm memory foam mattress, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. A sleeping area is located upstairs on the mezzanine level, featuring two 90x200 cm beds that can be joined together and a sofa bed (a safety gate is installed at the top of the stairs).
Reversible air conditioning and electric heating in the bedroom and bathroom.
To make your stay as hassle-free as possible, bed linens (beds made on arrival), bath towels, table linens, air conditioning, and electric heating are included in the rate. End-of-stay cleaning is optional and subject to an additional fee.
Pet welcome under certain conditions (additional deposit required).
Parking is available for 2 vehicles on the property.
An electric car charging station is available upon request at the time of booking or at the start of your stay on-site (€30/week during off-peak hours).
Four adult bicycles are available in a 10 m² shed (subject to them being in good working order upon your arrival).
We’ll be happy to guide you upon your arrival and throughout your stay, if you’d like, to help you explore the Arcachon Basin and its surroundings so that your stay goes exactly as you imagined.

Les Bizounours Merveilleux séjour
Virginie et J-Christophe sont des personnes accueillantes et bienveillantes. Le Gîte est formidable, bien décoré avec goût, situé dans une impasse. L'accueil est très sympa. Virginie prend du temps et n'est pas avare dans les explications du bon fonctionnement de la maison et sur sa région. Séjour tranquille, pas mal de choses à visiter aux alentours. Nous le recommandons vivement. Les chiens sont les bienvenus et feront la connaissance de Mina la mignonne.

Catdan Un séjour au top !!!
Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans ce gîte tout confort et à proximité des commerces et des visites de lieux à découvrir. On s'y sent comme chez soi, il y a tout !!! L'accueil de Virginie et de ses petites attentions à notre arrivée ainsi que ses précieux conseils pour les visites à faire ont été un grand plus !!! ET notre chienne Luna a profité aussi de ses vacances avec un beau jardin clôturé. Nous reviendrons sans hésitation !!!

Sonia Super gîte !
Nous avons passé une super semaine à 3 dans ce gîte au calme d'une impasse mais proche de tous les commerces et lieux d'activités. Accueil au top de Virginie, la propriétaire, qui a pris le temps de nous expliquer toutes les belles choses à voir. Merci aussi pour les cadeaux de bienvenue, on s'est sentis vraiment accueillis. Le gîte est très confortable et très bien équipé. Il ne manque vraiment rien. La déco est top et reposante. Il est idéalement situé pour profiter des petites ports ostréicoles, de la Dune du Pilat, d'Arcachon et des restos. Point bonus pour l'accueil de notre petite chienne Inaya : le jardin est entièrement clos et elle avait même une gamelle d'eau à sa disposition dès son arrivée. Chaque petite attention compte. Nous avons aussi apprécié les lits faits à l'arrivée, le linge de toilette et le café à disposition, les brochures de l'Office du tourisme spécialement pour nous... Bref, on recommande vivement le Gîte La Dune Blanche!
