Enjoy a 180° view of the Gironde estuary! You'll be able to fish for shrimp, and watch the seagulls that return in the evening to bed down on the rocks near Mercher! You'll be able to relax in the garden after exploring the surrounding area with its climbing discovery trails, or enjoy a day's sightseeing in the region's rich heritage and gastronomy! This little house has an enclosed garden with trees, bordering the estuary, and a terrace. Bicycles available. It comprises a main room of 24m², with a sitting/dining/bed area (bed 1.40m), a small kitchen and a shower room with toilet. Heating included. Sheets, towels and kitchen linen included. Housekeeping included at end of stay. Bordeaux 48 km away. Parking available in front of the Holiday cottage or in the public parking lot 50 m away. 9 km to Blaye Citadel, 4 km to Bourg sur Gironde, 19 km to Lake Saint Christoly, 11 km to prehistoric caves.     Séjour de reve

    Très bel endroit qui rapproche de la nature.
    En bord de Gironde dans un cadre très agréable et paisible.
    Proche de lieux bien connus ..Blaye et Bourg pour ses vins
    pas loin de St Emilion et de Bordeaux.

    Calme et repos

    Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable à regarder passer les bateaux sur la Gironde. On n'a pas fait que ça, la ville de Blaye toute proche est très sympathique. La citadelle Vauban est très animée et l'estuaire de la Gironde est un lieu unique et particulier. Une rapide traversée par le bac nous dépose en plein Médoc et nous permet d'accéder à la cote Atlantique sans avoir à traverser Bordeaux.
    En ce qui concerne le logis en lui-même, il est très agréable, très au calme, bien situé. Il est très dommage que certains petits détails gâchent ce tableau comme par exemple un dessus de lit auréolé, de la poussière et des toiles d'araignées, et surtout un store installation maison qui nécessite force et équilibre et qui doit réveiller le voisin tellement il craque. Ce sont des petits détails qui pourraient être facilement résolus, qui nous auraient fait pleinement apprécier cette demeure et ainsi pouvoir recommander ce gîte à nos amis.

    Séjour très agréable

    Jolie location très cosy sur les bords de l'estuaire de la gironde. Le jardin prête à la rêverie, tout est pratique et fonctionnel. Les environs sont très riches en découvertes.
    Le propriétaire est accueillant et très sympathique.
    Nous avons adoré.
