Just forty kilometers from Bordeaux, the Bassin d'Arcachon and the famous Sauternes and Pessac Léognan winegrowing estates, the Holiday cottage Le Pitchouret is ideally located at the crossroads of paths leading to the treasures of the Gironde coast and inland. In the heart of the Landes de Gascogne Regional Nature Park, you'll be staying in Belin Beliet, at the gateway to the Landes and its maritime pine forest, home to typical villages and large lakes (Sanguinet and Biscarosse). You'll be able to take part in a wide range of sporting activities, including cycle paths, canoeing down the Leyre, horse-riding and water sports at Lake Hostens. Lovers of old stones will appreciate the 11th-century church of old Lugos or, further afield, the medieval town of Bazas and its cathedral.
The Holiday cottage Le Pitchouret is set in an unspoilt natural environment with tall trees, varied ferns and lakes surrounded by azaleas and rhododendrons that will delight you through the seasons. You'll enjoy pleasant moments of relaxation in the shade of the great oaks, and Kids will find this natural area a perfect playground. A spring feeds 3 decorative, non-bathable lakes, so parents are responsible for their children's safety.
On the first floor, the detached house comprises a lovely living room with dining area and lounge, a fully-equipped kitchen, two bedrooms (one 160x200 bed and two 90x200 beds), a shower room with large shower and a separate toilet. Upstairs, two bedrooms with sloping ceilings (2 beds 120x190 and one bed 160x200) and a bathroom with shower and toilet complete the accommodation. The Holiday cottage has reversible air conditioning in the living rooms and bedrooms on the first floor, and on the landing upstairs. You'll appreciate the house's vintage atmosphere, which blends perfectly with modern comforts. For business rentals, bed linen is extra (€15/bed).
