Gîte du Pitchouret

Located about 40 kilometers from Bordeaux, the Arcachon Bay, and the famous wine estates of Sauternes and Pessac-Léognan, the Pitchouret holiday cottage is ideally situated at the crossroads leading to the treasures of the Gironde coast and the inland region. In the heart of the Landes de Gascogne Regional Nature Park, you’ll stay in Belin-Beliet, at the gateway to the Landes region and its massif of maritime pines, home to quaint villages and large lakes (Sanguinet and Biscarosse). You can enjoy a variety of sports activities, including bike trails, canoeing down the Leyre River, horseback riding centers, and a water sports park at Lake Hostens; Lovers of historic architecture will appreciate the 11th-century church in Old Lugos or, further afield, the medieval town of Bazas and its cathedral.
The Pitchouret holiday cottage is located in a preserved natural setting with tall trees, a variety of ferns, and lakes surrounded by azaleas and rhododendrons that will delight you throughout the seasons. You’ll enjoy pleasant moments of relaxation in the shade of the tall oak trees, and kids will find this natural setting to be the perfect playground. A spring feeds three decorative lakes that are not suitable for swimming, so parents should ensure the safety of their kids.
The detached house features, on the ground floor, a beautiful living area with a dining and lounge space, a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms (one with a 160x200 cm bed and two with 90x200 cm beds), a bathroom with a large shower, and a separate toilet. Upstairs, two attic bedrooms (two 120x190 beds and one 160x200 bed) and a bathroom with a shower and toilet complete the layout. The holiday cottage features reversible air conditioning in the living areas and bedrooms on the ground floor, as well as on the landing upstairs. You’ll appreciate the home’s vintage atmosphere, which blends perfectly with modern comforts. For business rentals, sheets are an additional charge (€15/bed). Towels and end-of-stay cleaning are available for a fee.
