Located in the heart of the Domaine du Roc, a 6-hectare estate featuring gardens, woods, and meadows with horses, we warmly welcome you to our holiday cottage in this peaceful haven set in a bucolic setting. Ideally situated 8 km from Saint-Emilion, 45 km from Bordeaux, 13 km from Libourne, and 17 km from Lake Gurson in Villefranche-de-Lonchat, you’ll have plenty of opportunities for walks and hiking.
On-site, you’ll have access to a landscaped courtyard adjacent to the holiday cottage, complete with patio furniture, lounge chairs, and a barbecue. To relax, our 4x10m saltwater Piscine will be available from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM from May 1 to September 30. Sports enthusiasts can hit a few balls on our private tennis court (tennis rackets available for loan). Finally, you can stroll throughout the property (picnic tables are set up in various spots), including fishing in the pond. The holiday cottage, housed in a Gironde-style stone house, features on the ground floor a kitchen, a living room with dining and lounge areas (fireplace, sofa bed with a comfortable mattress), and a bathroom with a shower, toilet, and washing machine (middle level, accessed via 4 steps). Upstairs, there are two attic bedrooms: a master bedroom with a 160x200 cm bed and a small bedroom for kids with two beds 90x190 cm, as well as a small toilet. The holiday cottage is equipped with electric heating (included in the price). Sheets, towels, table linens, and firewood are included in the price, and the beds are made on arrival. End-of-stay cleaning is available for a fee. The property is designated an LPO bird sanctuary. We welcome horses to the pasture with a shelter (electric fence) and unlimited hay (daily rate of €15 per horse). Tourist tax is extra. Holiday cottage suitable for Telework (office area in the bedroom, internet connection). The owners, who are winemakers, invite you to explore their vineyard. Ping-pong table, swing. Massages available upon request. Pets allowed provided they are kept on a leash (€5/day).
