Stay in the heart of the Graves Vineyard, near Sauternes . On the left bank of the Garonne, at the gateway to the Forest of Landes and Gascony, Lisette and Jean welcome you to their independent Holiday cottage, Les Guizats, set on a former family vineyard. You'll love the spacious, fully-equipped and comfortable accommodation in this warm, lovingly renovated Holiday cottage. You'll enjoy a 2000m2 green space, fully fenced, private garden with flowers, lawn and terrace, parking in an enclosed courtyard and a bicycle room. Located close to the house and the RD 109, 39 kms from Bordeaux, 90 kms from the Bassin d'Arcachon, Dune du Pyla and Biscarosse. Adults and Kids alike will appreciate the facilities: barbecue, garden furniture, deckchairs, swings, slide, ping-pong table, books, board games, baby equipment (highchair, bathtub). Ground floor: entrance with cupboard, fitted kitchen (induction hob) opening onto living room with access to terrace, sitting room, bathroom, separate WC, 1 bedroom (1 bed 140 & 1 bed 90) with en-suite shower room and separate WC. 1st floor: 1 bedroom (1 bed 140 & 1 bed 90), 1 small bedroom with baby bed. Staircase with Kids safety device. Sleeps 6 (supp 50€). Bring your family or friends to discover our region, rich in castles and medieval villages. From Chicago Large comfortable gite well equipped
The hosts are superbly friendly and hospitable but not intrusive. Vineyards are all around us. Large rooms and bathrooms, very large kitchen exceptionally well equipped. Nice table on the terrace we used to eat outdoors. Fig and Pear trees with ripe fruit (October) that we were encouraged to pick, did not need to purchase fruit during our stay! One of the best gites that we have stayed at during multiple trips in different regions of France. One aspect we appreciated was a large binder with full manuals for the stove, oven, dishwasher, heating, etc. and lots of local information.

Excellent séjour dans une grande maison très confortable....il ne manquait rien.
Des propriétaires très sympathiques, généreux, faisant le maximum pour faire plaisir.

Mel & Grace A Wonderful Gite
We enjoyed a fantastic week at the Gîte des Guizats. We were met on arrival by Lisette and Jean, they very kindly gave us jam and caneles, and vegetables from their garden. They then gave us a tour of the impressive accommodation and extensive grounds. The house is comfortable and very well equipped. The rooms are spacious and light, as well as being very tastefully furnished. We didn't require use of the bedrooms upstairs, however it may be useful to some visitors to know that there is no bathroom upstairs. The gardens are both well tended and peaceful, with views over the vineyards, and hedges/fences shielding the garden from the village road. There are flowerbeds and fruit trees as well as play area for children. Because of its location, a car or bike would be necessary to reach the nearest shops. It is a perfect rural retreat, with an abundance of options for cycling and nearby chateaux. We have stayed in many gîtes in France, and honestly feel that this surpasses all the others. Should we visit this region again, we would have no hesitation in returning.

ylegrand Une parenthèse de détente, un cadre exeptionnel
J'ai passé une magnifique semaine dans le Gîte des Guizats. C'est probablement ma meilleurs expérience de location de vacances.
Je me suis senti très bien accueillis par les propriétaires Lisette et Jean.
Le Gite est très confortable en intérieurs avec tout l'équipement nécessaire (et même plus).
L'extérieur est exceptionnel (et c'est peu dire), très grand et très beau. On a adoré s'y détendre.
Et pour finir la région vaut vraiment le coup. Beaucoup d'activité et de visite à prévoir près du gite (le tout est très bien résumé dans les cahiers d'accueil ultra complets).
En bref, je vous conseille d'y aller sans aucune réserve.- Cleanliness
