Gîte de mer Ustrote

In Gujan-Mestras, on the very site of the store (*) where the owner and her family used to work, pack and ship oysters from the Bay of Arcachon, now stands this comfortable seaside gîte for two people.
Situated on the edge of a reservoir where neighboring oyster farmers store their oysters, and along the road that links the 7 ports of Gujan, this gîte will be the ideal and original refuge for your vacations on the Bay of Arcachon.
Built in 2017 to the latest standards of comfort, the Ustrote sea gite is located between the ports of Larros and Gujan, in the heart of oyster-farming life, with an exceptional view.
The rooms are spread over two levels: on the first floor, there's a living room with fully-equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge with sofa opening onto the terrace with garden furniture, plus a shower room with toilet. Upstairs is the open-plan bedroom (not enclosed) with two 90cm beds and en-suite shower room.
Reversible air conditioning, TV, wifi. Bed linen and towels provided. Heating and end-of-stay cleaning included. Private parking. The gîte faces away from the railway line. Gite adjoins another rental.

The lake at the foot of the gîte is a saltwater reservoir, fed by a lock according to the needs of neighboring professionals, depending on the tides. For safety reasons, and in accordance with the management regulations for this body of water, it is forbidden to bathe, fish, engage in nautical activities (canoeing, etc.), or dump solid or liquid waste. As the site is protected, it is forbidden to use any type of barbecue, plancha... for grilling purposes.
