In Gujan-Mestras, on the very site of the store (*) where the owner and her family used to work, pack and ship oysters from the Bay of Arcachon, now stands this comfortable two-person Holiday cottage by the Sea.
Situated on the edge of a reservoir where neighboring oyster farmers store their oysters, on the one hand, and along the road that links Gujan's 7 ports, on the other, this Holiday cottage will be the ideal and original refuge for your vacations on the Bassin d'Arcachon.
Built in 2017 to the latest standards of comfort, the Ustrote Sea Holiday cottage is located between the ports of Larros and Gujan, in the heart of oyster-farming life, with an exceptional view. Its rooms are spread over two levels: on the first floor, you'll find the living room with fully-equipped kitchen (a Nespresso piston coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster), dining area and living room with sofa opening onto the terrace with garden furniture, as well as a shower room with toilet. Upstairs is the open-plan bedroom (not closed) with two 90cm beds and en-suite shower room. Reversible air-conditioning, TV, wifi. Bathroom linen provided. Heating and housekeeping included. Private parking. Holiday cottage has its back to the railway. Holiday cottage adjoining another rental. 3-star Holiday cottage with Naturellement Bassin label. The lake at the foot of the Holiday cottage is a saltwater reservoir, fed by a sluice according to the needs of neighboring businesses and tides. For safety reasons, and in accordance with the management regulations for this Lake, swimming, fishing, water sports (canoeing, etc.) and the dumping of solid or liquid waste are prohibited. As the site is protected, it is forbidden to use any type of barbecue, plancha... (*) magasin: a shed equipped for shipping oysters (cf Dictionnaire gascon-français / Yolande Vidal 1999).
