Gîte de la Sicarderie

Ideally located between Bordeaux and Blaye, the Sicarderie holiday cottage welcomes you for your stay in the Countryside in a quiet and pleasant setting.
Housed in a former 19th-century stable, the holiday cottage offers modern comforts while retaining its original charm with its stone and rubble walls, as well as its authentic exposed timber framing and beams. It is part of a complex that also includes the owners’ residence.
The entire property is situated on fully enclosed grounds. You can enjoy an unobstructed view of the surrounding Countryside from the holiday cottage’s private terrace and garden—the perfect spot to unwind.
On the ground floor, the holiday cottage features a main living area with a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, and living room with a TV, as well as a half-bath and a laundry area. Upstairs, you’ll find two comfortable bedrooms with beautiful exposed beams; as these are located approximately 1.70 cm from the floor, taller guests should take special care. Each is furnished with a 160x200 bed that can be separated into two 80x200 beds. A bathroom with a shower and toilet completes this level.
The holiday cottage is equipped with electric heating. Electricity consumption exceeding 8 kWh/day and heating costs are charged as an additional fee.
Sheets and table linens are included in the price; bath towels and cleaning supplies can be rented at the end of your stay (for an additional fee).
Dogs are welcome under certain conditions (€10/day/pet, plus a security deposit). Two cats also live on the property and roam freely outdoors.
You can park your vehicle safely in the shared parking lot with the owners, located at the entrance to the property across from the Holiday cottage.
