A charming wooden semi-detached house with a countryside feel, attached to the owner’s home, located just outside Bordeaux (10 km) and in the heart of the Pessac-Léognan Vineyard, in a peaceful, green setting on a family-owned property featuring a park with century-old trees and outdoor furniture. Its prime location with breathtaking views of the Countryside invites you to take a stroll through nature, with hiking trails starting right from the Holiday cottage.
Ground floor: living area with a built-in kitchen (microwave) separated by a counter/dining area/living room with a TV, walk-in shower/separate toilet, washer-dryer combo.
Upstairs: 2 bedrooms: one bedroom with a view of the Countryside featuring a Bed 160 x 200, and one bedroom with a view of the small wood featuring two 90 x 190cm beds.
Electric heating and reversible air conditioning (living area and master bedroom). Option to rent sheets, bathroom linen, and end-of-stay cleaning (for a fee). Kitchen linens provided. Tourist tax not included. Non-smoking holiday cottage.
Direct access to downtown Bordeaux via TRAM Line C to Villenave-d'Ornon, with parking and a "Park & Ride" option (Pyrénées stop) 5 km away. An 18-hole Golf course is available in Villenave-d'Ornon, 5 km away.

    A charming place to stay

    A convenient place to stay for visiting the vineyards in the area and Bordeaux. The property is located in a very quiet lane and the garden is shady and cool. The owner was attentive to ensure we were happy with everything. Two dogs and two horses added to the enjoyment.
    The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms furnishes simply.
    We found the stairs steep and the downstairs bathroom not all that convenient, both of us being over 80 years old, but these were manageable with care.
    Altogether a very enjoyable visit. We couldn’t have wishes for better.

    Excellent séjour

    Un excelent séjour. Gite conforme aux attentes et aux promesses du site. Grande proximité avec de nombreuses possibilités de visites, promenades et Bordeaux (accès par le Tram ultra facile et peu onéreux!)- 2 semaines très agréables et bien remplies.
    - Le GROS PLUS : L'accueil et la disponibilité de notre hotesse. Christine est extrêmement aimable et attentive. Excellente conseillère touristique. Aux petits soins!!!!
    - Le MOINS : La WIFI purement symbolique et qui lâche prise au moindre téléchargement au delà du Doc de base! (5G et Pt d'accès mobile sauvent la situation.)

    Excellent séjour au gîte de Carabit

    Nous avons passé une semaine dans un très joli cadre, l'accueil de la propriétaire correspondait parfaitement à nos attentes : des conseils, des recommandations, bref de quoi passer un excellent séjour !
