Ideally located along the coastal road running alongside the Gironde Estuary, our holiday cottage welcomes you to a peaceful setting, surrounded by nature, history, and local culture. You are in Gauriac, a small village nestled between the citadels of Bourg and Blaye, an ideal starting point for walks or bike rides along the coastal path with its breathtaking views; you can try your hand at shrimp fishing just 200 meters away or on the quays of the small port of Roque de Thau, 1 km away; History and heritage enthusiasts will be captivated by the Citadel of Blaye and the medieval village of Bourg, passing by the Gallo-Roman city in Plassac and the Pair-non-Pair caves in Prignac and Marcamps.
The holiday cottage is housed in a renovated historic home. It is spread over two levels with spacious rooms, tasteful decor, and a layout designed for your comfort.
On the ground floor is a large, fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook just like at home: dishes, coffee maker, microwave, oven, kettle, washing machine, refrigerator, freezer, and plenty of practical utensils; a large, bright living area with a living room and dining room, perfect for sharing meals, relaxing in front of the TV, or playing board games; and a separate restroom.
The upper floor features 2 bedrooms with double beds (140x190cm), one of which has an en-suite bathroom opening onto the bedroom, 2 bedrooms each with two 90x190cm beds, a bathroom with a large shower, and a separate toilet.
You’ll have access to an enclosed garden with a terrace, garden furniture, and a fire pit for lovely barbecue evenings, as well as a private parking space with a charging port for electric vehicles.
Sheets, towels, and table linens are included in the price. End-of-stay cleaning is available for an additional fee. A second holiday cottage is located right nearby, accommodating 6 people with 3 bedrooms: ideal for family gatherings or business trips
