Ideally located on the corniche road along the Gironde Estuary, our Holiday cottage welcomes you in a peaceful setting, between nature, heritage and terroir. You are in Gauriac, a small village nestled between the citadels of Bourg and Blaye, the ideal starting point for walks or bike rides along the corniche and its breathtaking views; Fishing for shrimp 200 m away or on the quays of the small port of Roque de Thau 1 km away; history and heritage lovers will be enchanted by the Citadelle of Blaye and the medieval village of Bourg, not forgetting the Gallo-Roman Villa of Plassac and the Pair-non-Pair caves in Prignac and Marcamps.
The Holiday cottage is housed in a renovated old house. It is laid out on two levels, with generous volumes, meticulous decoration and a layout designed for your comfort.
The first floor features a large, fully-equipped kitchen, with everything you need to cook like at home: crockery, coffee-maker, microwave, oven, kettle, washing machine, fridge, freezer and lots of practical utensils, a large, bright living room with lounge and dining area, ideal for sharing meals, relaxing in front of the TV or playing board games, and a separate toilet.
The first floor includes 2 bedrooms with double beds (140x190cm), one of which has its own private shower room opening onto the bedroom, 2 bedrooms with 2 beds 90x190cm each, a shower room with large shower, and a separate toilet.
There's an enclosed garden with a terrace, garden furniture and a brazier for barbecue evenings, as well as private parking with an electric vehicle socket.
Bed linen, towels and table linen are included in the price. A second Holiday cottage in the immediate vicinity, for 6 people with 3 bedrooms: ideal for family gatherings or business stays.
