Ideally located in the heart of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, near three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Vauban citadel of Blaye, the medieval town of Saint-Émilion, and the elegant city of Bordeaux, the AMETZA holiday cottage invites you to enjoy a relaxing getaway. Nestled among the vineyards of the Côtes de Bourg and Blaye, at the gateway to the Cognac region, this haven of peace charms with its cozy and natural atmosphere, perfect for rest and escape. Housed in a charming 20th-century Gironde-style home, fully restored in 2019, the holiday cottage has preserved its original character while offering modern comforts. Outside, enjoy a spacious south-facing terrace featuring an outdoor kitchen, opening onto a garden filled with ornamental and aromatic plants—the perfect setting to savor sunny days. Inside, the holiday cottage features a spacious, inviting living area divided into two spaces: a fully equipped kitchen (induction cooktop, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, filter, French press, or capsule coffee makers…) with a dining area, and a cozy living room with a television. The sleeping area includes a bedroom with a double bed (140 x 190 cm), as well as several additional sleeping options: a single bed (90 x 190 cm), a two-seater sofa bed in the living room, and a cozy loft (height 1.50 m) equipped with a single bed, secured by a child safety gate. An elegant bathroom with a large shower, hairdryer, and toilet completes the space. Adjacent to the owners’ home, the holiday cottage offers peace and quiet. It is equipped with an alarm system (€80 deposit for the remote control). For your comfort, underfloor heating via a heat pump is included in the rate, as are bed linens, table linens, and towels for two people. End-of-stay cleaning is available for a fee. You will also have access to on-site parking, fiber-optic Wi-Fi, and a smoke-free environment. Special attention is paid to cleanliness, recycling, and organic waste management.
