The town of Brantôme, known as the "Venice of the Périgord", is very lively in summer, and is the ideal starting point for sightseeing in the region. 28 km from Périgueux, a city of Art and History. Also worth seeing: Bourdeilles and Puyguilhem castles, Villars caves, St Jean de Côle village, truffle eco-museum and truffle trails at Sorges.
