3 km from St Martial de Nabirat (Boulangerie), 6 km from the Dordogne Valley (Domme, La Roque Gageac, Beynac...), 14 km from Gourdon and 19 km from Sarlat, pretty ground-floor apartment in a restored country house located in a quiet hamlet (the road stops in front of the house) overlooking the Céou Valley in the heart of Périgord Noir and at the gateway to Quercy. Peace and quiet guaranteed. During your stay, you can enjoy a wide range of activities including canoeing, hot-air ballooning, visits to châteaux, parks, caves, museums, etc...
This independent single-storey Holiday cottage near the owner's house comprises a living room with fully-equipped kitchen and sitting area (TV, radio, Wifi Internet connection), a dining area, a large bedroom with 1 x 180cm bed and 1 TV, and a shower room with WC. Reversible heat pump heating. Outside dining area adjoining the kitchen and private 300 m2 garden in front of the house with garden furniture under an arbour, sun loungers, barbecue/plancha and boule court.

Lanic A presentable property in a quiet area
We had an enjoyable stay at Plapech and appreciated the help and advice from the owner Christophe who was very charming and friendly during our stay. The owner lives in the adjoining property.
The property was very well presented and in a quiet position.
Very comfortable bed and the gite had all the usual facilities you would expect.
Parking was available opposite.
The location and approach is slightly remote, but you can relax in the quiet surroundings with no traffic passing by.
We would have preferred some garden loungers to lay out in the sunshine or relax in the garden rather than chairs, but no big problem.
The only negative with the gite was a musty odour in the kitchen area if the doors are shut during the day. However, we were told there had been some recent repair work with the kitchen pipework so this was probably the reason.
Overall a pleasant stay and would recommend if you are looking for a place to stay away from the busy areas.- Cleanliness

Gite très agréable,nous avons particulièrement apprécié la fraicheur sur cette semaine avec des températures entre 30 et 35 degrés.Gite conforme au descriptif dans un secteur ou le calme est remarquable.Point de départ pour de trés nombreuses visites sur de courtes distances(chateaux,jardins,villages remarquables,bastides....)
