Magnificent setting for this spacious, completely peaceful gîte in the middle of fields. The little stream that runs beneath and in front of the gîte is the icing on the cake! The kids love it!

10 km from the Dordogne Valley and 25 km from Sarlat, a medieval town with an exceptional heritage, this former mill is set in a valley amid wooded hillsides. The stream, about 20 cm deep, runs in front of the gîte and under the house; between the living room and the kitchen, a window in the floor allows you to see the stream (there is a partial fence in the park in front of the house, but the entire length of the stream is not fenced). The 2 millstones are visible from the outside. This is a very touristy region, with many prehistoric sites to visit in the Vézère Valley (Lascaux II, Les Eyzies de Tayac...), castles (Castelnaud, Beynac, Montfort...) and villages in the Dordogne Valley (La Roque Gageac...) as well as Rocamadour and Padirac in the Lot.
