The maison-marguerite in the commune of Carves is built on a high point and has a clear view to the south, with Belvès (7km) on the horizon, classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France. It is close to the Dordogne Valley, with its many castles (Beynac, Castelnaud, Les Milandes, Marqueyssac, etc.) and the Vézère Valley, also known as the 'Valley of Prehistory', world-famous for its sites (Les Eyzies, La Madeleine, Lascaux, etc.).
