Bed and breakfast in the heart of nature, 10 minutes from Sarlat

Ideally located in the Périgord Noir region, just 10 minutes from the medieval city of Sarlat and 14 km from the Dordogne valley renowned for its castles and canoe trips, the Maison d'Hôtes Forenea welcomes you to a preserved forest environment. This Bed and breakfast has been designed with nature and Wellbeing in mind, with plants in every room contributing to air quality. Each room is a veritable ode to the Forest, featuring wild Dordogne animals such as deer, herons, genets, falcons and foxes, hand-drawn by the owner. Each room has its own entrance from the outside, opening onto a one-hectare forest garden with a pond. Breakfast is served every morning between 8:30 and 10 a.m., on the terrace by the Piscine or in the veranda, and is included in the price of the night's stay. All products are local, homemade and organically grown. Breakfast includes a hot drink (tea, herbal tea or coffee), a cold drink (apple juice or ginger beer), toasted sourdough bread with butter, fruit, chestnut, walnut or honey jam and a slice of homemade cake, plus fresh seasonal fruit. Alternatively, a brunch can be booked (€15 / adult, €8 / Kids), made with fresh, local, seasonal organic produce. Respectful amenities are also available, such as organic solid body soap and filtered, energized water.

The Forenea Bed and breakfast comprises 5 bedrooms, each with its own outside access: Ground floor with private terrace: - Chambre Cerf: 180 x 200 bed (convertible into 2 x 90 x 200 beds), en-suite shower room: shower cubicle, washbasin, WC. A small private terrace with garden furniture. Chambre Héron: One 180 x 200 bed (convertible into 2 90 x 200 beds). En-suite shower room: Shower cubicle, washbasin, WC. Small private terrace with garden furniture. 1st floor: - Genette bedroom: Bed 180 x 200 (convertible into 2 beds 90 x 200). Private en-suite shower room: shower cubicle, washbasin, WC. - Falcon bedroom: 2 beds 90 x 200 convertible into 1 bed 180 x 200. En-suite shower room: shower cubicle, washbasin, WC - Chambre Renard: 2 beds 80X200 convertible into a 160x200 bed. En-suite shower room: shower cubicle, washbasin, WC. 12 x 5m, alarm-protected swimming pool with progressive depth from 1m1 to 2m. Baby equipment on request: Umbrella bed and high chair.
