Bed and breakfast in the heart of nature, 10 minutes from Sarlat

Ideally located in the Périgord Noir region, just 10 minutes from the medieval city of Sarlat and 14 km from the Dordogne valley renowned for its castles and canoe trips, the Maison d'Hôtes Forenea welcomes you to a preserved forest environment. This Bed and breakfast has been designed with nature and Wellbeing in mind, with plants in every room contributing to air quality. Each room is a veritable ode to the Forest, featuring wild Dordogne animals such as deer, herons, genets, falcons and foxes, hand-drawn by the owner. Each room has its own entrance from the outside, opening onto a one-hectare forest garden with a pond. Breakfast is served every morning between 8:30 and 10 a.m., on the terrace by the Piscine or in the veranda, and is included in the price of the night's stay. All products are local, homemade and organically grown. Breakfast includes a hot drink (tea, herbal tea or coffee), a cold drink (apple juice or ginger beer), toasted sourdough bread with butter, fruit, chestnut, walnut or honey jam and a slice of homemade cake, plus fresh seasonal fruit. Alternatively, a brunch can be booked (€15 / adult, €8 / Kids), made with fresh, local, seasonal organic produce. Respectful amenities are also available, such as organic solid body soap and filtered, energized water.

The Forenea bed and breakfast has 5 rooms, each with its own exterior entrance:

On the ground floor, with a private terrace:
- Cerf Room: One Bed 180 x 200 (can be converted into two 90 x 200 beds). An adjoining private bathroom: A shower stall, a sink, and a toilet. A small private terrace with patio furniture.
- Héron Room: One bed 180 x 200 (can be converted into two beds 90 x 200). An adjoining private bathroom: a shower stall, a sink, and a toilet. A small private terrace with patio furniture.

On the 1st floor:
- Genette Room: One Bed 180 x 200 (can be converted into two 90 x 200 beds). An adjoining private bathroom: A shower stall, a sink, and a toilet.
- Faucon Bedroom: 2 90x200 beds that can be converted into one 180x200 bed. An adjoining private bathroom: a shower stall, a sink, and a toilet.
- Renard Room: 2 beds (80 x 200) that can be combined into one bed (160 x 200). Private en-suite bathroom: shower stall, sink, and toilet.

Enjoy a saltwater Piscine open from May through the end of September (8 a.m.–8 p.m.), measuring 12 x 5m, with a gradual depth ranging from 1m1 to 2m, secured by an alarm.
