In the Périgord Noir region, you're 27 km from Sarlat, a medieval city with an exceptional heritage, 22 km from Montignac and the Lascaux 4 International Center of Cave Art in the Vézère Valley, and 28 km from the Dordogne Valley, where you can visit medieval castles (Castelnaud, Beynac...), villages classified as "France's most beautiful villages" (La Roque Gageac...), bastides (Domme) and remarkable gardens (Marqueyssac, Eyrignac...)....), villages classified as "les plus beaux villages de France" (La Roque Gageac...), bastides (Domme) and remarkable gardens (Marqueyssac, Eyrignac...) not forgetting outdoor activities (fishing, swimming, gabarre trips, canoeing...).
You have access to the owners' 2000m2 garden, where you can meet their hens and cats, as well as a 50m2 terrace at the foot of the gîte, with a barbecue about 25m from the terrace of the 2nd gîte.
You'll appreciate the well-being provided by the jacuzzi and swimming pool (10mx4m, depth 1.45m, heated salt pool, open from 01/06 to 30/09) shared with the owners and a 2nd gîte.

The Josephine Baker gîte is located above the owners' house, with no facing building. With independent access, the first floor features a dining room opening onto a fully-equipped kitchen (4 ceramic hobs), fridge, oven and microwave, and a sitting area with sofa, TV and DVD player. A 1st bedroom with 1 bed 140x190 and a communicating shower room with WC. On the 2nd floor, accessible via a miller's staircase, the 2nd bedroom has a 160x200 bed that can be split into two 80cm beds, and a 90x190 bed. A 2nd shower room communicates with a shower and WC. Mobile air-conditioning on 2nd floor.
A shared laundry room with outside access includes a washing machine and fondue and raclette facilities.
Baby equipment: cot, high chair, booster seat, potty.
If you have bikes or motorcycles, a car port is available on request.
