Enjoy a relaxing vacation between Angoulême and Périgueux. You can discover Brantôme "La Venise du Périgord", enjoy canoe trips on the Dronne to Bourdeilles (superb château), visit the Romanesque domed churches of the Ribéracois and enjoy cycling, mountain biking or hiking outings (numerous Hiking departures).
You'll love the private, heated, chlorine-powered Piscine, 10mx5m, 1.50m deep, secured by alarm and fencing, open from late June to September (weather permitting), located about 10m in front of the covered terrace with garden furniture and barbecue.
At the rear of the house, you can enjoy a shared enclosed garden with the owner, who has a Bernese Mountain Dog and 2 cats. You can also visit the hens and the rooster.
A beautiful stone house adjoining the owners' home. On the first floor, you'll have access to a living room featuring a fully-equipped kitchen and dining room with fridge-freezer, gas piano, electric oven, hood, microwave, espresso and conventional coffee makers, and dishwasher. Living room with sofa, TV and WiFi. Bathroom with walk-in shower, WC and washing machine. Upstairs, you'll find 2 bedrooms, each with a 160x190 bed, and 1 bedroom with 2 120x190 beds. A shower room with standard shower and WC. Baby equipment on request: cot and high chair.

This was our third visit to Les Gouyassous. This year we decided to come in early
summer rather than our usual September visit. The experience was fantastic as
previously, and the warm sunny weather was a bonus. As usual, we made the
most of the pool and benefited from the highly effective air conditioning during the
hottest days of our stay. Our hosts, Marielle and Bernard were charming and helpful,
and we now think of them as good friends. We had a wonderful time and plan to return

Traduction : C'était notre troisième séjour aux Gouyassous. Cette année, nous avons décidé de venir au début de l'été plutôt qu'en septembre, comme d'habitude. L'expérience a été fantastique, comme les précédentes, et le temps chaud et ensoleillé a été un atout supplémentaire. Comme d'habitude, nous avons profité pleinement de la piscine et de la climatisation très efficace pendant les journées les plus chaudes de notre séjour. Nos hôtes, Marielle et Bernard, étaient charmants et serviables, et nous les considérons désormais comme de bons amis. Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour et comptons y retourner l'année prochaine.

We were so looking forward to returning to Les Gouyassous following our experience
last year and it did not disappoint. Everything on arrival was as we expected and more.There was some local wine chilling down in the fridge and Bernard presented us with his amazing tomatoes, and eggs straight from the chickens. The pool, as last year, was welcoming and, despite some indifferent weather, we managed to swim nearly every
day.The relaxation and unwinding were just what we needed, and we felt totally refreshed
within days.We cannot wait to come back next year if possible.

Traduction : Nous avions tellement hâte de revenir aux Gouyassous suite à notre expérience l'année dernière. À l'arrivée, tout était comme nous l'espérions et même plus. Il y avait du vin local au frais dans le réfrigérateur et Bernard nous a présenté ses incroyables tomates et ses œufs directement sortis des poules. La piscine, comme l'année dernière, était accueillante et, malgré une météo peu clémente, nous avons réussi à nager presque tous les jours. Nous avons hâte de revenir l'année prochaine si possible.

Nicolas Super séjour à Mareuil
Superbe séjour à Mareuil dans le gite de Bernard et Marielle. Nous avons tous été très bien accueillis, dans une charmante demeure très propre et bien équipée. Bernard est un hôte prévenant tout en restant discret. Les enfants se sont bien amusés!
