This 6-person holiday cottage is the perfect base for exploring the most beautiful landscapes of the Dordogne Valley. In Groléjac, enjoy outdoor activities, whether at the on-site pool or the Lake, and go for a swim at Groléjac Beach, all in a privileged setting that blends nature, heritage, and fine dining. Explore the iconic villages of Domme, offering remarkable panoramic views of the Dordogne. Also visit Castelnaud-la-Chapelle Castle, the famous medieval fortress, as well as the Domme Caves and Fénelon Castle. and the many trails offering exceptional views of the valley. Noir: , renowned for its local products, as well as the traditional Market in La Roque-Gageac every Friday morning.

Les Girolles (sleeps 6) is a two-story house built entirely of local stone. Inside this unique home, you’ll enter the main room, which features a kitchenette, a dining area, and a living room with a sofa, TV, and Wi-Fi. A bathroom with a toilet is available on the ground floor. To access the sleeping area, you’ll need to go down to the garden level. There are three bedrooms and a bathroom with a toilet. Two bedrooms feature twin beds (Bed 90x190 cm), and one alcove bedroom has a queen-size bed (160x200 cm). The French door in this bedroom opens onto the inner courtyard, surrounded by ancient walls, where you’ll find an old bread oven dating back to 1618.
Outside, enjoy two terraces: one on the ground floor, in front of the house, with a table and a barbecue. The second terrace is on the garden level, a small garden area with a table and chairs. On the ground floor, separated by a hedge, you’ll find the shared Piscine with the second Holiday cottage. This chlorine-treated Piscine is secured by an alarm.It measures 6 x 12 meters with a depth ranging from 1.20m to 2.50m. It is available from May 1st to October 1st. Sun loungers are at your disposal. Also shared is a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. There is also a ping-pong table and a large trampoline. Five mountain bikes are also available.
From the terrace, you’ll enjoy a view of the large lawn—an ideal playground for kids—as well as the meadow and the Forest.
The special feature of this holiday cottage is a narrow path that leads you to the river at its base (about 1.5 km). Several lovely small beaches are just a 5-minute drive away.
