A country vacation on the outskirts of town!

In the heart of the Isle Valley, the gîte is ideally located for discovering the whole département. You'll be equidistant (45 min) from the Bergerac region (vineyards, bastides), the Vézère Valley (caves, troglodytic sites, chasm) and the beautiful walks of the Périgord Vert, and an hour from Sarlat and the sites of the Dordogne Valley (castles, gardens). Don't miss Brantôme, only 30 minutes away!
Don't hesitate to take the Campniac ferry, a fun way to cross the river and walk to the historic center of Périgueux, to discover the imposing Gallo-Roman remains, the medieval old town and the majestic Saint-Front cathedral. When it comes to gastronomy, the town is full of good restaurants serving Périgord classics, and its Wednesday and Saturday markets are popular with locals and visitors alike!
You can also walk or cycle along the "voie verte" along the Isle river.

Countryside just outside the City! That's the promise of this tastefully renovated stone Holiday cottage. The house is on several small levels: from the entrance hall, you'll reach the living room (by three steps) and access the sleeping area on the same level. A further 3 steps lead down to the kitchen-dining room. The living room is fully equipped with a corner sofa, TV and wood-burning stove. Two of the bedrooms have 140x190 beds. There's also a bathroom with bath, shower and double washbasin, as well as a separate toilet. Finally, upstairs you'll find the third attic bedroom with 2 beds 90x190.
From the fully-equipped kitchen and dining area, you'll have access to the terrace overlooking the 3000m² garden and the 11x3m, 1.5m-deep private heated saltwater swimming pool, open from June to the end of September and secured by a roller shutter.
