Located near the Château de Jumilhac, nicknamed the Pearl of Périgord, this Holiday cottage is in the heart of the Périgord Vert region. Between Aquitaine and Limousin, on the border of the Dordogne and Haute-Vienne, it's an ideal starting point for many visits and walks. Jumilhac is also known for its mining past. The Galerie de l'Or (Gold Gallery) plunges visitors into the history of local gold mining, with gold panning workshops that are very popular with visitors. Just a few minutes away, the village of Saint-Pierre-de-Frugie offers an organic store, a restaurant, a market and a friendly atmosphere. Lovers of outdoor activities will also appreciate the many Terra Aventura courses nearby, where you can discover a rich and varied heritage of historic sites, landscapes and walking routes, the perfect place to discover a wilder Dordogne, far from the crowds, but just as rich in charm.
