Located in Saint-Crépin-et-Carlucet, this gîte is a carefully renovated family home, where the owner has incorporated unique furniture designed by her carpenter father, offering a harmonious blend of tradition and comfort. Close to the D60 motorway, it takes just 15 minutes to reach : Sarlat-la-Canéda, a medieval town renowned for its architecture and local market. Nearby, the Marqueyssac hanging gardens offer peaceful strolls with breathtaking views over the Dordogne valley. For history buffs, the castles of Beynac and Castelnaud are less than 30 minutes away. Take a canoe trip on the Dordogne to discover its majestic landscapes, impressive cliffs and picturesque villages, while gliding peacefully on the water. Footpaths invite you to explore the surrounding area, perfect for nature lovers. A nearby pig farm completes the rural ambience.
After 4 steps, access to the living area with sofa bed, TV, wood-burning stove, dining area, open-plan fitted kitchen, dining table and small bar with 2 stools. Large entrance hall with storage cupboard (shelves and dressing area), office area with bookcase. The first bedroom has a 140x190 bed and a wardrobe with shelving. Then a bathroom with bath and double basins, and a separate toilet. Upstairs, in the former dovecote, you'll have access to a bedroom with a 140x190 bed, a closet with hanging space and shelves. The washing machine is in the cellar. The gîte has a covered terrace accessible from the living room. In the courtyard you'll find garden furniture for 8 people and a charcoal barbecue. Unenclosed garden of 2500m2. Large shed for parking cars.

Le plaisir de vivre dans une maison de tradition locale avec un très beau terrain tout autour, sans vis-à-vis, en toute sécurité.
La maison à tout ce qu'il faut, meme pour les plus petits, il ne nous a rien manqué.
Du fait de l'environnement la cuisine est un peu sombre mais puisqu'il y a l'électricité, pas de problème.
Fraîcheur garantie dans cette maison, un bon point quand il fait 30° et plus.
L'accueil par Magali est agréable (merci pour le chocolat!) et celle-ci est prévenante, ponctuelle et disponible.
On ne parlera de la beauté de la région ?

6fran Séjour en maison périgourdine
Séjour agréable dans une maison périgourdine typique : prédominance du bois (de très belles poutres au plafond), aménagée avec goût dans le respect du bâtiment. Confort tout à fait correct. La maison était froide au début de la semaine, mais je pense qu'elle n'avait pas encore été habitée et la météo n'était pas de la partie. Très belle région. Nous en garderons globalement un bon souvenir.
