Magnificent, renovated 18th-century Carthusian monastery ideally located for visiting the Périgord Noir and Périgord Pourpre regions, with their many tourist attractions: Cingle de Trémolat 4 km away, the village of Limeuil 6 km away, classified as one of the "Most Beautiful Villages in France", the Abbey Church of Paunat, as well as the prehistoric sites of the Vézère Valley as far as Montignac (Lascaux 4 International Center of Cave Art), via Les Eyzies de Tayac, capital of prehistory and the sites of the Dordogne Valley, to Sarlat, a medieval city with an exceptional heritage, or Bergerac and its famous Vineyards. 35 km from Bergerac (Vineyards).

    Location août 2025

    Globalement satisfaisant. Très difficile de dormir avec les fortes chaleurs malgré la mise à disposition de ventilateurs et d'un climatiseur d'appoint (indispensable pour occuper la pièce concernée). Impossible d'être dehors le soir à cause des frelons qui entraient ensuite dans la maison. Encore une fois la période de fortes chaleurs a été propice à ce genre de désagréments. Nous avons apprécié l'entretien quotidien de la piscine. Le gîte est très au calme avec un espace extérieur très agréable. Coin barbecue et espace piscine sécurisé. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour.

    A la campagne

    Gite très bien situé , en pleine campagne , au milieu d'une forêt , très calme.
    Jardin avec piscine très agréable.
    Cuisine bien équipée
    Maison mal insonorisée , planchers qui craquent ( excessivement bruyants ) , portes qui grincent.
    Isolation défaillante ( chambre sous les toits difficilement vivable ) et absence de moustiquaires aux fenêtres
    Sanitaires un peu justes , salle de bain sous les toits difficilement utilisable, et 1 douche correcte.

    Gite extrêmement propre, simple, facile... ingrédients d une réussite pour des vacances familiales.
    La propriétaire est très gentille et accueillante. La région est belle, riche en visites.
    Clin d'oeil à cette belle réussite familiale pour l accueil et un sentiment de bien être dans cette demeure !

    Séjour agréable en famille.

    La maison est spacieuse et convient à une famille avec enfants et bébé ( matériel et espace vert avec jeux).
    La propriétaire fait l'entretien de la piscine tous les matins. Le lieu est calme et reposant.
