Enjoy an ideal location for exploring the Perigordian heritage, canoeing on site from Les Eyzies, restaurant and shops in the commune too.
Just 19 km from the famous medieval city of Sarlat, you're on the main route to discovering the riches of the Périgord Noir and, of course, bringing back some of its gastronomy in your suitcase.
Le Fénil, access via shared courtyard to the house adjoining the gîte La Bergerie. Main room: gas stove, Tasssimo coffee maker, washing machine, dishwasher, combination freezer, lounge area with TV, Internet, pellet stove sole heating for the gîte.
Upstairs, 2 bedrooms with 2 90x190cm beds and one 140x190cm bed. Bathroom with bath and WC. Le Fénil features a private terrace in the front courtyard, or depending on sun exposure, you can enjoy the terrace next to the Piscine.
A path leads to the shared, semi-enclosed 2000m2 garden and the Piscine, shared with the 2 Holiday cottages and another cottage, with its 8x10 chlorine pool 1.50 deep, secured by a fence. At the end of the garden lies a small stream where you can enjoy a good book or simply relax in peace and quiet. Parking in private courtyard.

Marie-Caroline et Pascal se sont installés en Périgord Noir il y a quelques années avec le projet de restaurer de belles bâtisses typiques de la Dordogne et d'y développer des hébergements confortables. Ils proposent aujourd'hui des locations de qualité, situées en Périgord Noir, idéales pour découvrir la région.
Très attachés aux animaux et propriétaires eux-mêmes de quatre compagnons sur place, ils accueillent les chiens avec plaisir. Labellisé Dog Friendly, le domaine s'étend sur 1,5 hectare, offrant un espace adapté pour que les animaux profitent pleinement de leur séjour.

CatNic Gîte idéalement placé pour visiter la région
Propriétaires très accueillants. Le lieu est idéal pour visiter la région : de nombreux sites d'intérêt de tous types à proximité.
Le gîte est bien équipé mais assez sombre, certainement adapté à la chaleur l'été.
Seul bémol, la proximité avec la route Périgueux Sarlat qui est vraiment très bruyante.
Le grand jardin à l'arrière des 3 gîtes est très agréable et plus au calme.
La piscine a l'air très bien (mais non testée fin avril).- Cleanliness

Endroit parfait si on vient avec son chien.

ArMel Gite sympa
Le lieu est très sympa, idéal pour visiter la région.
Les propriétaires sont très à l’écoute des besoins.
Le cadre, avec la piscine, le jardin et la terrasse est agréable.
Literie confortable.
Le point à améliorer peut être les espaces de rangements notamment dans la cuisine.

3makesafamily Wonderful setting for a holiday
This property is on the outskirts of Les Eyzies on the road to Sarlat.There are 2 terrace rental properties alongside the owner’s property, which is fenced off to the side and back of their property as they have 4 dogs and 2 cats.The owners give you a warm welcome,but the owners wife doesn’t speak English and he speaks only a little English.The property is spacious but basic downstairs with a good size master bedroom with a shower over the bath in the bathroom. It still retains signs of its previous use as a farm building with wooden beams throughout the property. The kitchen area is basic and usable but the sofa and chairs are very hard and uncomfortable. The garden area behind the owners property is absolutely huge, complimented by a stream that runs from the hills across the road,through the driveway and the garden flowing into the river at the far end of the garden.There’s also a small shared swimming pool, a pitch to play boules/pétanque and a small summer house.We found the property à good base to explore the area’s prehistoric heritage and chateaux.There’s a free car park 2 minutes drive from the property if you want visit Les Eyzies as the footpath doesn’t go as far as this property.There are plenty of snack bars and restaurants in the town as well as a weekly market.The owners of this property are very unobtrusive but willing to help if they can.
