Family home restored in 2021, just a stone's throw from Périgueux, listed as a 'Ville d'Art et d'Histoire' (St Front Cathedral, Tour de Vésone, Gallo-Roman circuit, Medieval-Renaissance circuit, Tour Mataguerre, museums...). 16 km from Brantôme (Abbey and village). Also worth seeing: Bourdeilles and Puyguilhem castles, Villars caves, St Jean de Côle village (Floralies on May 8 weekend), truffle ecomuseum and truffle trails at Sorges.
Just 400 m from the gite, you'll find outdoor communal games, tennis courts, a soccer stadium, a skate park, self-service gym and children's playground.
The "voie verte" is 800 m away (walking, cycling, rollerblading, etc.). Fishing is also available at 800 m. Périgueux golf course 2 km away.
A secure 20A witty 3KW electric socket is available at the Gite for recharging your vehicle on request.
Pets welcome (dogs and/or cats only-no NACs) with deposit only on the first floor of the house.
On the first floor, 2 steps lead up to a 12 m² entrance hall with a sitting area, followed by a large living room with dining area, sofas, TV, DVD player, WiFi. You'll appreciate the fully-equipped kitchen.1 bedroom with 2 beds 90x190, 1 bedroom with 1 bed 160x190, a bathroom with bathtub, double washbasin. Separate WC. Upstairs, 2 bedrooms each with 1 bed 140x190, office. A shower room with shower and WC, and a mezzanine with games/books. A beautiful private swimming pool, open from June to September and heated on request to 27°C maximum (weather permitting), 8 x 4 m, 1.50m deep, salt water, secured by a roller shutter (WC and solar shower). A terrace with garden furniture, parasol, barbecue area. Enclosed garden of approx. 2000 m2. Baby equipment: cot, high chair, changing mat, potty, toilet seat reducer, bath seat and bath ring. Cleaning 120€, single bed linen/15€, double bed linen/20€, towels 10€/pers.

A wonderful stay over Easter helped by the beautiful weather so we could use the garden which was very well equipped.

Florence Très bon séjour
Séjour de 3 semaines dans cette très belle maison qui a beaucoup de charme. Grand jardin vraiment très agréable, sans oublier la piscine avec tout l’équipement à côté (chaises longues, grand parasol et sanitaires ). Les propriétaires sont des gens charmants et très accueillants et toujours disponibles si besoin. Tous les commerces sont à proximité.

Nes Un beau séjour en Périgord
Nous avons reçu un bon accueil des propriétaires.
Le gîte est très bien situé, il permet de découvrir bon nombre de joyaux du Périgord.
Il est bien aménagé, soigné et propre.
Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine, qui permet de se rafraîchir lors des fortes chaleurs.Côté confort, nous aurions apprécié que des ventilateurs soient mis à disposition à l'étage.

Nous sommes ravis que notre maison ait contribué à la qualité si appréciée de votre séjour dans notre belle région. Nous recommandons toujours le bon usage en période caniculaire applicable à toutes les régions de tenir la maison fermée en journée et d'ouvrir le soir pour rafraichir. Nous avons de plus fait installer des moustiquaires aux chambres de l'étages (toujours plus chaudes) afin de pouvoir ventiler en soirée et éventuellement dormir les fenêtres ouvertes en toute tranquillité.

Ce gîte est très agréable, bien équipé, rien ne manque, il est d'une propreté irréprochable. Le jardin est superbe, le temps digne d'une belle période d'été nous a permis de profiter de la piscine en cette fin de mai. Les propriétaires sont charmants et accueillants.En peu de jours, nous avons découvert Périgueux, Brantôme (un vrai coup de cœur!), nous avons marché sur une partie de la coulée verte. Bref, que du bonheur! Seul point de regret : notre séjour a été trop court! Nous recommandons vivement!
